‘Tis spring, and we are hosting a little reunion down at The Farm Proper on Saturday, April 16th (4-6 pm).

We’ll have some soil amendments from Jaime, the nutrient enrichment guru from Indoor Garden Depot, and some seedlings from Suzie’s Farm ready for the planting. The BBQ will also be going, so bring some drinks and something to throw on it if you like.

Meetup at the Bakery. July 12, 2010

Monday, JULY 12 is our next Meetup!

We had so much fun last month, we’re doing it again: what’s better than a summer night in our Barrio Logan grocery-cart farm experiment?

The Bakery is a design collective in Barrio Logan interested in art, culture, and global responsibility on a local scale. Bring drinks, hang out in our urban farm, and meet the neighbors. We’ll provide some sort of snack, even if it’s freshly harvested quinoa.

This event is open to the entire community, feel free to spread the word!
